LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR
Teresa joins the practice after over 20 years of experience working in community health and inpatient settings. She earned her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Arts Therapy from Lesley University in 2002. Teresa is passionate about learning and growing in relevant treatment modalities. She also provides clinical supervision to post graduate students and is licensed in both MA and RI.

Teresa has extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families as they work to resolve the impact of trauma and adverse experiences. This may include forms of parent-child play therapy, Therapeutic Parent Coaching, The Nurtured Heart Approach, and Attachment-Based Family Therapy.
Other modalities Teresa draws from include Internal Family Systems, Creative Arts Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as experiential, and somatic-based interventions. She has significant experience supporting a variety of presenting issues, including: depression, mood disorders, various types of anxiety and those who have been identified as being on the Autism Spectrum.
