Amber holds a Bachelors of Science in English Education from Boston University and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Bridgewater State University. She specializes in trauma, complex trauma, relationship issues, and anxiety. She has significant experience and enjoys working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD and she is a neurodiversity-affirming clinician. This means she operates with a strengths-based approach toward neurodiversity and will be glad to adapt her communication style and interventions to meet the client’s needs.

Amber’s favorite part of being a mental health professional is celebrating the bravery it takes to ask for help and make positive changes in your life. Amber is a person-centered therapist and believes clients are the experts on themselves. She loves integrating creative art therapy techniques to help clients tell their stories. She also uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and other interventions as appropriate.
